I read all the reviews and would like to share my share of experience. Not sure if anyone of you regular customers have noticed or not:
1) How many times had you respnded to the same question asked by different guy/gals who are sales executive that do I have a First citizen card or not? ( I counted once I answered it 22 times ! )
2) The quality of the clothes of simply ridiculous, bought a kurta for my wife for a 1000 bucks and had to return 2 times and the 3rd one also in defective (stretches and tears when worn), And strangely I have landed up paying 1300 rupees in the exchange process, becoz if I buy a lesser priced product I lose the money or I buy a higher priced product and paye extra , both the cases they earn money.
3) The loyalty program First Citizen is a big farce in itself. Guess how much of discount could you get if you buy clothes worth Rs.15000/- from any other store, even if the shop keeper gives you a 10% discount which its Rs.1500/- and have you wondered how much the First Citizen points add up to if you buy goods of same amount. Well the answer is Rs. 105/-. ( I have a Silver Card which gives me 2 points for every 100Rs.) Is it really worth ?? I guess my Bhaji wala would give me better loyalty benefit if I buy vegetables from him regularly.
4) Lastly the gift certificates dont have any credit note mechanism, so if you have 2 gifts of Rs.500 each and if happen to buy to stuff worth Rs 750, so either pay cash of rs.250 or lose the other coupon and rs250 left in it. they cannot givce u credit note for the remaining rs.250.
5) the Feedback mechanism is again a farce because I have stated the same feedback in the forms and also sent an email to them. HOpefully they read this.
