I had very bad experience when I ordered a product to India via rediff shopping. I ordered a branded product(a philips VCD player) but they delivered a defective item.
So we returned it to the Vendor(Philips agency in our place) but they are not ready to give a new product or repair it. Anyway we left it with the dealer and got a reciept.
I tried to contact rediff over phone to get my money back, they said I need to send email . I send many mails to shopping@rediff.co.in but they are not responding.
Now I am thinking of legal means like a consumer court. But its a pain.
It seems Rediff shopping is not bothered about the customers. From my experience they dont even have the responsiblity to listen what the customer is saying.
So be cautious when you shop with rediff.com. Their customer service is the worst.
