Through this website I’d like to advise net shoppers to kindly be cautious with Rediff Shopping. I ordered 2 expensive Perfumes(Kouros by SaintvYes) in their website and received the delivery after 10-12 days. When I opened the Parcel, to my utter surprise, I found duplicate perfume. I haven’t see that packaging for Kouros in the leading stores worldwide. I called up the Rediff Vendor by the name NR Shoppe - Mumbai and their response was extremely unprofessional. I called up everyday to their vendor to find out if they can ship the correct perfume as demanded by me or arrange a collection of the duplicate perfumes they have sent to me. After 6 days of follow-up, they finally started avoiding my calls.
This is the time when I called Rediff Shopping customer care and Rediff Shopping Operations/Accounts(Mr. Mangesh) to report the matter and also followed up with a written complaint. They said that they are gonna arrange their own pick-up of the incorrect items from me by some courier company and also asked me to send another complaint explaining the entire experience from their vendor so that they can take action. It has been 45 days and nothing has moved further. I finally gave up coz there is no spending 15-20 minutes on STD calls to Mumbai to speak to the Rediff Shopping team.
I request the authorities to take legal action on Rediff Shopping and its Vendors. I am also surprised that Citibank & ICICI Bank have launched special schemes in Rediff Shopping website for converting the purchases through the Citibank & ICICI Cards into EMIs. Even these banks don’t even bother to verify the credentials of Net Shopping companies before entering into such schemes with them.
IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE CHEATED, PLEASE DO NOT SHOP AT REDIFF SHOPPING IN THE NET.
