Rediff shopping is ultimate frustration

Hi all,


I have my account in rediff. Several ads popup. I liked some of the products that appeared on pop-up. Recently, I ordered a webcam from rediff.com. I received the webcam but there was no installation CD. I checked thoroughly, but CD was missing. That is a partial delivery as per e-shopping norms. While the rediff takes full money at one shot, how can it give a partial delivery ?


I dont know how to escalate the issue to rediff. com.


I tried clicking the ’’Live online’’ help - no use. I called the toll free number - it keeps ringing. I wrote to the shopping@rediff.co.in email id. No response. I escalated through the menu based customer service. It acknowledged and said we will get back to you in 48 hours.


I have determined not to buy from rediff anymore.


If only I know how to sue them, I will certainly do that.


A worst experience.
