This is my first review in mouthshut.com, I am compelled to write this even though I have my CA final exams in 5 days as the height of lunacy shown by shopping portal of rediff unbearable.
at first they will come across as most helpful and customer friendly e-commerce website, but as soon as u place order with them u will find out the truth.
I placed my order of a simple shoe horn of mere rs 299 on 11th Oct 2013 with COD option which along with shipping came to rs 379.
now everyday as a policy I checked at their site if they have dispatched my product. Finally on 26th Oct 2013 I recd a mail from rediff that my product has been dispatched. Now came the turn of everyday tracking the courier through their logistic partner’s( velocity) website, which takes forever to load.
At last on the fateful day of 29th OCT 2013 at 6.30 pm my product arrived, I was filled with zeal as opened the rediff shopping bag but alas! all came out was a piece of carton cello taped together. Thankfully I had opened the bag in presence of the courier boy. I returned the parcel to him not before he had an half an hour conference with his superiors with every time looking in the empty bag like it was a magician’s hat and anytime my order will be pulled out like a bunny.
