I was surfing at MS, when I read this rediff shopping article, which reminded me of the funny incident that happened with me.
I was curious to know about whats this e-shopping was all about. So I ordered a CD player from Rediff, on COD (Cash on Delivery) payment terms. Next Day I got confirmation that my order has been accepted. Next, it was despatched from there end, after abt 15 days when I didnt received my parcel, I mailed them about it.
In return , I received an automatic mail reply which in brief meant Keep on Purchasing from the site - I would have loved to, had they sown as much sincerity in delivering the product that they show in replying mail (so what if they automatic reply - we live in 21st century dude, e’thg got to be automatic)
To add cherry to the cake, few days later, I got a mail , which asked me about my feedback of the product I ordered !! I tried to convince myself this is virtual shopping - the future of technology, which is currently in its experimental stage, may be some day its gona work, but not at present atleast...
Its a pity, that website of such a high reputation has such a messy shopping arena.
Its clear that there is no coordination between the various departments of this shopping site and everybody is doing things they way they please, no counter check over the transactions, irrelevant (or may I sa ’automatic’) replies to queries, to sum up, its as irrelevant as the title of this review....
