I ordered a much publicised TOOLKIT from here. The first dispatch was of a fair quality. On seeing the good quality at Rs.210, I alongwith my office collleagues ordered for 3 more pieces, as it made a good enough utility gift piece.
To our horror, the consignments sent were of unusable, trash quality. The parts which were to be made od solid steel were in fact, only ’steel’ painted plastic. On complaining to rediff, were informed to send back the defective pieces for the amount + courier charges to be reimbursed. NOW WHO HAS THE TIME AND INCLINATION TO DO ALL THIS NATAK. Why the hell did I choose to place orders on the net ? Never again. On writing back to rediff about this, was again coldly told to follow the procedure................
It seems that rediff does not have any in-house quality checks.....for the items sourced from their sales agents.
BEWARE, never buy from this web-site........what would have happened had I placed order for a more expensive item eg. a refrigerator or camera. Just take the flaming ideas from this web-site, but TOUCh and SEE the item yourself from a shop before buying...........IT IS SAFER
