Rediff Shopping are the Worst guys to do Business

Hi floks, Iam also a victim of this fradulent website.But I have to blame my self after all for not waking up even after having so many bad experiences. 1)On 2005-05-04 I have placed an order for FengShui Fan and after waiting for almost 10 days I contacted the customer support as it was not delivered.After repeated e-mails to them they said that the item was out of stock and that they will arrange to refund my money.It was ridiculous to see that they have not taken out that particular item from their site even though it was not with them and they did not contacted me with any order status.The customer service rep simply told me that these kinds of events will not be repeated. 2)Again on August of 2005, I have placed an order for a Remote Control operated car toy to one my nephew in india.I have paid for all the shipping charges.When they have delivered the product to them they charged Rs.60 towards the shipping charges and also the toy car was not working because of the dead battery.There is no information as how to return the product and what needs to be done if the item was defective. 3)Once Again in November 2005 I have placed an order for Diamond Ring for my mothers birthday.When I looked at my credit card statement , they have over charged than the advertised price and also I got an e-mail after 1day from them telling me to confirm that iam the owner of the card.Guess what!!!!!! ’’Since your order falls under the high value bracket, we need the following information to avoid any fraudulent use of your credit card: Your latest credit card statement Xeroxed / Scanned copy of the front and back of your credit card Authorisation letter from you, preferably in the given format https://shopping.rediff.com/shopping/confirmformat.htm We request you to send the details over fax urgently to (022) 24446837. Please mention your order number and your email address at the top of the fax.’’ Does any one remember using this technology for credit card verification?. After all these process, as usual they have not delivered it in time.And the most sick part is that they do not respond to any of the e-mails.After so much of frustration, my mom said that she has received the Ring but that was in white Gold instead of yellow Gold.My frustration went to the peak, I do not know how to return the product as there was not any information. Never in my life again will I do any online shopping with rediff.I do not why these guys do business with out giving any customer satisfaction....there is no accountability of any sort..They are just cheating. These people need to be sued, , , , news papers should talk about the dangers of online shopping with indian websites.
