I am a Net addict. I surf a minimum of 2 hours daily looking for new sites. I knew that rediff was a site for news. Although the name doesn’t suggest anything, the advertisement shown on television was mainly targetted towards email users who want to access emails at a lightning speed.
I decided to take a look at the site. The homepage shows lots of links like the current news, checking emails, astrology, matchmaking, stock quotes etc.
I always check out the astrology section which has something more compared to other sites. It has got daily, weekly monthly and yearly horoscopes. It has also introduced the Kundli matcher recently. Although at a beta stage it claims of matching two horoscopes based on the hindu astrology.
As claimed by them the emails can be accessed at a lightning speed. There is lot of action taking place in the matchmaking section too. The finance section is worth seeing. It has good a shopping mall with some good products. Other links include the chat and the message board. It has got a nice collection of cards too. I have not tried any other links but I think thay will be good too. I think recently they have acquired thinkindia.com too.
I think rediff.com is a site worth looking atleast once in a day.
