Rediff Shopping - Very Poor

Guys, this is my genuine review.


( FYI = my order no. is 9153760


the customer care no for rediff is - 18002662333)

heres my complete story ->


1) my order was placed on 10-feb-2014.


2) The product is "Gents Spy Camera Chrono Wrist Watch Video & Audio 4GB HD Recorder"


3) It was pay on delivery, and total cost was 1, 695rs


4) I received the watch on "Delivered 13-FEB-2014", by  Courier Name= "EcomExpress"


5) I made the payment and when I look inside the package, I find out that the vendor has sent me the wrong product. He has sent me an ordinary watch which is worth 300-400rs.


6) On the same day feb 13, I called the customer care and I told them about the issue.


7) They asked me to send pictures of the product that I received to the e-mail department "shopsupport@rediff.co.in" and they said I will get a reply from them within 12 working hours.


8) I immediately sent them the pictures of the watch(that day only)


9) I did not get any reply for 2-3 days


10) I called the customer care again- and from here, the problem begins.


REAL FACTS ->


1) when I call the customer care no. and when I give them the order no. they sometimes simply cut the call.


note - to even get to the customer care it takes 20-30 mins. Give the customer care a call yourself and find out.


2) when u tell them about your problem (not matter whatever it is), they simply tell you that they have raised a complaint no. and then they ask you to e-mail the same to their e-mail department.


3) when you email them, they simply don’t reply.


4) when you call back the customer care, they don’t mind disconnecting your call.


5) when you wish to speak with the manager, the manager also cuts the call.


6) They don’t mind putting you on hold for long periods of time( like 40mins-50mins)


and when u go like, WTF U PUT ME ON HOLD FOR 45MINS, they say sorry sir caz of this and that.


I did not give up. I repeatedly kept calling them everyday for about 6-7 days, and after sending them about 20-30 mails. I got a reply from their e-mail department saying "send the item back to our seller within 7 working days"


I immediately sent the product back to the seller using dtdc courier service.

now


1) when I get back to rediff and tell them that I have sent the product back to the seller, this is what they have sent me " we would like to inform you that we are unable to trace your consignment so we request you to kindly get in touch with your local courier and forward us the signed acknowledgement so that we can assist you further."


Today its march 06.


and I have paid 1700rs for the watch and 200 rs for the courier service to send back the local/wrong watch.


wright now, I don’t have any product with me and it seems like I have lost 1700rs to some vendor and rediff is not taking any real action but is just stalling me.

I am editing my review today.


its march 30th today.


and I just wanna say, I finally got a pay order from rediff just 2 days ago.


for 1780 (the exact amount of the watch).


And that was after all the above hun-gaa-maa ( and a lot more).
