Rediff.com Shopping - U want to waste your money?
Hi All,
I used to shop from many online stores. But I suffered many cheating from Rediff.com. So I wanted to share it with u all.
The main problems with rediff shopping are
Money Waste
First thing is money waste. If you are buying a product from Rediff.com , understand the fact that you are paying thrice the actual amount or product price. I have an example. Once I bought TOSHIKO 3 BLADE ELECTRIC SHAVER WITH POP UP TRIMMER from baazee.com (Now https://ebay.in) for Rs: 150. I got the product delivered on the very next day. I found the same brand in rediff.com is Rs: 399+Shipping charges. So how much they r charging..?
Time Waste
As I have written above, the other online shops are very quick in delivery. But rediff takes minimum 1 week to process your order. So we are waiting..waiting..waiting for already paid item.
Poor Customer Care
If u send mails to rediff customer care, some times u will get a reply after 2-3 days, some times they wont reply at all. I had similar experiences. When I ordered an item and payed the money online, after one week I called them. They just told me that the item will be delivered soon..Thats it. I got it after 2 more weeks. You know why..?
The main problem with rediff is that they dont sell the items directly. They have agrements with some distributors. For example if u buy a shirt from rediff shopping, rediff will get the order & will give the order to the corresponding distributor. They dont have proper control over those distributors..That is how the order get delayed...Cost goes high, because rediff has to take the profit as well as the distributor also do the same.
Hope rediff will look into these serious issues as they are doing very good in other areas like internet news, mail etc. If the service is good, people will surely go for that. Also I would like to mention one good thing about rediff. Their website is one of the fast loading site, I have seen. Let them maintain this quality in their e-business also.
Let me know your comments.
