Helloo people..nowadays there are so many websites and news sites and shopping sites that it is difficult to differentiate one from the other, cause standards have become more or less consistent. I chose to write about rediff.com and particularly its shopping section cause till now it has given me great service. And this is especially for those residing outside India. We keep searching for websites through which we can send gifts to people back home. And after searching numerous websites, believe me -really numerous, I find myself coming back to Rediff.com again and again. Firstly I have come to kind of trust the website. It has rarely ever faulted in processing my requests. It has a good range of gift items. It seems safe and secure, which is of extreme importance when we are giving our credit card numbers. There are times when the items reach later than they should have but I guess one will have to remember to give enough lead time the next time. I haven’t had opportunity to use their next day delivery option, so I can’t comment. They did blotch up my last order though and some flowers that I had ordered did not reach the recipient at all. But after a little lag they were kind enough to send me a mail informing me that the order hadn’t been completed. After which I had to send them a couple of more mails asking about when the money would be credited back to my account and eventually they did send a nice mail back. If anyone from Rediff is reading this, all I want to say is most customers expect to be kept in the loop. We can understand that there can be possible delays or mishaps but as long as the customers know and feel that they are in safe hands and their trust will not be violated, I think everyone wins in the end. Just like my testimony. It really felt nice to have a representative from the company write back informing me that they were sorry the order had been delayed but the money will soon be credited to my account and I could contact them again when I felt the need to.Hence even though I am yet to see my money back , I feel that its going to be fine.So overall I would say I have had a pleasurable experience with Rediff.com/shopping over the last two years and can recommend it to others.
