Defective items sent and refund not done

I ordered a wine bottle umbrella and aluma wallet combo from Rediff shopping on 14-06-2013. My order number is 8127511. When I received the order on 21-06-2013, I found that the umbrella is broken. I called the customer care, after long time of waiting, their customer care executive talked to me. He said to me that I have to send the defective item back to the seller which was Mayatra Enterprises from Mumbai and he also said that the courier charges will be refunded to me. I sent the defective item on 26-06-2013 which was delivered to the seller on 28-06-2013. I also sent them the photograph of broken umbrella and the courier receipt.


I called their customer care to know about the time it would take for the refund but they didn’’t gave me any satisfactory answer.


They provide the worst customer service.
