Avoid Indiatimes Shopping and Delhivery Courier

I had ordered a Morphy Richards Sandwich Press bearing order no.3002167356 from Indiatimes shopping on 30 March. The delivery time was pegged at 11 business days (OMG) My package bearing AWB no. 10112541254 had been dispatched by Indiatimes shopping via Delivery courier on 11 April and received at their MIDC, Mumbai office ( which is a maximum of 6 kilometers from my home) on 12 Apr.


The latest date indicated for delivery was 15 Apr. So where is my package. Delivery’s online website doesn’t mention the local telephone numbers of their branches. Delivery’s online tracking says that they tried to deliver my package on 12 April at my address and the consignee (me) wasn’t available. How is this possible. we were home the whole day. I had called Delivery’s customer care numbers and after calling for 20, YES 20 times without answer, was finally connected to a CSR.


She assured delivery of my packet on 15 april that is today. But there is still no sign of my packet. as of 9:25 pm. No one has even called me to let me know the reason of the delay. Calls to voice support of Indiatimes shopping has proven fruitless as the CSR keeps telling that the packet will be delivered in 48 working hours. I haven’t heard of a single courier company (even chhottu courier is way better) which will take more than 4 days to deliver a product just 6 kms away from their local branch.


The funny part (seen in the screenshot) is that the packet is dispatched for delivery at 10:16 am and still hasn’t delivered as of 9:25 pm 15 Apr just 6 Kms away! Wow are the delivery guys sleeping or what? This is plain unprofessional and unethical.


I am attaching the screenshot of the tracking system on Delivery Courier as of 9:25 pm IST on 15 April. and the order confirmation email.


So Indiatimes shopping, plz clarify the matter with your shipper ASAP or I will have to take legal action. Indiatimes shopping can’t be absolved of the blame coz they chose the courier. Plz treat this email as a formal complaint which WILL be escalated into a consumer redressal complaint if u dont let me know the status or fail to deliver the package in 48 working hours. And plz don’t come up with some common corporate bullshit that my case is under investigation with the concerned dept etc. The ball is in your court; Lets see how u play it.


so dear friends and fellow readers plz keep away from Indiatimes shopping. they have the worst shippers in business. I will definitely reconsider if I have to order anything from Indiatimes Shopping...
