Recently bought a Mobile phone from Indiatimes shopping and following were the experiences
The product specifications written in the advertisement aren’t fulfilled by the product dispatched. Also the product isn’t meant for India sale, it seems that the seller imports the left over crap from from the US (verizon wireless) and tries to make margins here in India
Their call centre agents are committed while selling the product may be because they get incentives but later they are just disgusting.
The Sellers don’t understand the technical aspects of the product and when you call them you get few illiterates who ask you to upgrade the sw of the phone without even understanding the problem
When asked for reverse pickup (which is part of their Sale policy) Indiatimes shopping doesn’t even know that their designated courier partners don’t pick up mobiles.
So they start searching for one and don’t find for a month... They will just give you dates which aren’t kept. Such a useless staff.
After this you loose patience and faith that won’t risk the phone to be dispatched because you never know if they would return back to you.
Feeling ashmed that Indiatimes shopping does this. No wonder ’Online Shoppping’ isn’t so popular and trustworthy in India.
I would suggest not to go for high value items like mobiles etc from Indiatimes shopping
