I liked a product on the indiatimes site but the product information was incorrect. I called their toll free support and got a response. "Sir be free to Order our cust service will call you after shopping and will clear all your doubts" looking at indiatimes I went ahead after all this was the cheapest quote for my dream product... hence I went ahead
I ordered a sony projector from indiatimes shopping. the costliest product so far on indiatimes. the website mentions I will get the product within 5-6 days or realization of payment. its day 13 and still no response. 7 complaints on phone and 5 on the website. no response to a single complaint. on yelling at them after 13 days status of my order changed to shipped but with a fraudulent wasy. they pasted an airway bill number which is used to TRACK my product. but that number was incorrect
now I again started running behind them to solve this problem of mine. spent 6 days till date to get the correct airway bill number no chance. once a guy caled me back asking about my complaint. I explained him the whole scene and he said "Sir I will enquire and call you back" since then its 72 hours no response back.
guys I have decided to spam them with complaints. atleast one complaint will be answered from the LUCKY DRAW. if this is the depth of follow up you have to take to get your product worth 45 thousand delivered would you ever shop with them?
it was then that I came and read reviews about Indiatimes the business giant and realized the reason behind my trouble. here I have seen many people like me who have fallen prey to the fraudulent website shopping.indiatimes.com
i also tried contacting the Mumbai police cyber cell to ask for intervention. as of now I have been asked to contact the Local cyber cell and they will take it forward from there. I am awaiting a fair outcome to my tries to get my investment back or to get my dream product from them.
hope you realize the pain in shopping with Indiatimes. I request you not to Purchase anything from this fraud website.

Guys I am also planning to fill a petition against this site to permanently get this site stopped so that many people like me can be saved.
