After going through all the negative feedback about’Indiatimes shopping’ on Mouthshut, I was pretty scared after placing the order for a "Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 – 16GB(White)" at the cheapest(or best) price anybody can ever get( Rs.8750/-) on 21st May 2013. They had assured me a delivery date of 29th May 2013. Fair enough. But then I went through the reviews here and started wondering about the fate of the order.
I called them once and then their’Delhivery’ boys twice to Delhi and the calls went OK. The only glitch was that Delhivery was an unknown courier service for me and their local telephone number was out of service all the time.(I stay in a metro city other than Delhi.) This gave me some anxious moments.
And so, the consignment arrived on 25th May - 4 days before the assured date in a neatly packed box with no missing accessories and no damage to the goods. The Tab itself is a matter for another review.
It was a pleasant experience to shop with Indiatimes. Some of you may have experienced severe glitches in their system. But that may happen to any system. eg. Your luggage can land in Zanzibar whereas you want it in Timbuktu.
Probably, Delhivery can increase its exposure through publicity and it may help to gain confidence for shoppers sites like Indiatimes as well.
