Best site to get old, used products for high price

I am still in a shock with India Times service on my recent purchase of Iphone 4 from this site .


I have ordered Iphone 4 costing Rs . 20, 311 on 09/01/2014 .

Looking at the display(which says that the image is not available), I was bit worried and called the customer care to get confirmation and he said that the India Times itself is the seller and no need to worry about the product. Then  I have made the payment .


I have received the product on 13/01/2014 through FEDEX . The outer package looked fine and the packing was decent enough . But after removing all the extra covers and bubble package, to my surprise, IPHONE box looked so old and it was in a very unacceptable condition in a torn state . There are almost 5 plasters pasted on box but was able to open the box easily as the plasters were cut already with some knive on edges and the double surprise was that the ear phones inside the box were missing and USB cable is  with no seal or plaster(used ones).


As the outer package was proper and decent, It was not with courier service . IndiaTimes itself has sent some iphone by gathering the other accessories like charger, cable(still missed the ear phones lolz.) and sent in some old box for which some 10 plasters are stuck and 10 times opened.


Complaint number: 0113020318(call center representative gave same old answer that "our team will contact you within 48 hrs)


Case number:1243601(got a mail that the case will be addressed in 16 days) .


Thanks for your concern and I feel that the issue can be addressed a little bit earlier and can be considered as serious one(after all for 21 K).


Looking at the brand and group(Times of India), I made a wrong step . If they have done such things for products of low value, its OK, but not with a product of 21 K value and not especially with customers who trust them for buying such costly products from their site .
