I usually do online shopping for consumer durables, electronics and computer items from tradus, letsbuy, sirlindia, ebay, yebhi rediff. Basis of the positive experience I ordered a mobile phone and a hobby kit in indiatimes shopping on June 4th, 2012.
Immediately, got confirmation order and within four days I got the shipping confirmation of hobby kit. On opening the kit, I found it a wrong product and had to lodged the complaint. The return parcel is ready for last so many days. And nobody came to collect it. he second product was mobile phone whose delivery date was confirmed as 14/06/12. I have to raise the complaint in customer care.
The customer care executive attending the phone calls is totally blank about the status of the delivery of the product. I asked them to cancel the order on 16/06/2012, but the executive said that it may take minimum six days to cancel the product. A funny situation is existing now. Neither I can purchase ne phone from another store nor indiatimes supply the ordered mobile phone. it seems that it is a cheat company.
I am considering to file a case in consumer court citing all the reviews in mouthshut if the product is not delivered before Monday.
