I wish I’d been to this site and read these reviews earlier. I purchased Note 2 phone on 17 Aug, 2013, Order Number 3002607364. I was told that it’ll be shipped latest by Aug 24 and will be delivered latest by Aug 29. After reading the bad reviews here, I contacted them on 23rd and 24th Aug and the customer support assured me that it’ll ship by 24 Aug.
Today on Aug 26, I call them again to get the status and was told that my order will get delayed by 5-6 working days. Reason, they don’t have it in stock. When I asked them can you commit me a date after taking into account the delay, all I was told that they’ll do their best to deliver it with the 5-6 day delay. So who knows, it may not get delivered at all.
I was already quite apprehensive of their intentions after reading the reviews here, so I asked them to cancel my order. Here, I must say the customer support guy was very prompt. He didn’t ask me a second time to confirm cancellation or try to stop me from canceling.
It was cancelled in seconds. I only wish they were as prompt in other things also. I guess they either don’t care about the business or they’re aware that since they can’t deliver, it’ll have to be cancelled sooner or later. Anyway, my expected refund date is Sept 6. Assuming they don’t delay the refund as well, they’ll get to hold on to my Rs. 27 k for 20 days.
So, don’t fall for the low prices on Indiatimes because you’ll never get the item after paying for it. Even if other sites like Flipkart, eBay etc. are asking for little more, purchase it from there.
