Worst online shopping experience ever

Instead of telling my story I would like to past the mails that I exchanged with shoipping.indiatimes


It was for an order for frost free fridge.


I would also like to share that I did called to double check that they have it in stock and can deliver at my shipping address. The answer was affirmative.

This regarding the order no.


Well, you have all the details with you and I guess I do not need to tell any story about how indiatimes shopping pissed me off.


I really think that indiatimes shopping does not have any communication left with the merchant as I tried calling on the number given by customtakeouter care also, just to receive an irrelevant response. This makes me feel that if I wait for even a single second that is waste of time.


I requested a cancellation, the request number shared by customtakeouter care for the same is .


I am sure that indiatimes shopping is not left with any communication with the merchant. I do not think that the merchant even replied once after my order was placed. if he did please enlighten me but with the proof.


customtakeouter care updated me that it will take another 9 days to get my money back for the cancellation. I do not understand this. I made the payment on 30th of last month.. this is already 12 days. so practchandru021y indiatimes shopping is blocking my money for almost 21 days.


Please do not give an excuse of the process here. if   indiatimes shopping would have followed the process, I would have received the delivery by now. moreover the merchant might have given a bit of importance to indiatimes.


it is clear that the merchant is not at interested in doing business with indiatimes, the process of refund in this case should not take such long.


so please make the refund as soon as possible.


if it is needed to escalate the case please do that .

A very diplomatic answer, with no concrete information, some how I was expecting it but this is not acceptable.


It is good that you are trying to contact the merchant for the confirmation, looking at what has been happening till now, I would like to know what are you going to do if the merchant does not reply at all in a day or two.


This is most probable to happen as I can see.

This regarding the order no:.


I came to about a new story today when I called to customtakeouter care to inquire about the status.


I was informed that the merchant has updated that they are out of stock. this was the reason for the non shipment of the product.


Now this clearly means that indiatimes shopping is fooling me since day one.


firstly, it was unethical for indiatimes shopping to take an order for a product that was out of stock.


secondly, even on my regular calls and inquiries, I was kept in dark that the product will be shipped within the given time frame. despite of the fact that merchant had updated indiatimes shopping that they do not have the product anymore.


thirdly, I was never informed that indiatimes shopping has received a communication from the merchant about the product being out if stock.


fourth, indiatimes waited for the me to cancel the order rather they should have done it immediately after they received a unable to deliver response from the merchant.


fifth, Indiatimes shopping ideally should also pay penalty because it unethchandru021y took and is blocking my money, knowing that the product was never there to deliver.


sixth, Even today when it is all clear that the product can not be delivered. indiatimes shopping is crying about the SLA, and is blocking my money.


I wish to directly talk to some one in who responsible enough to answer my queries, as customtakeouter care always says nothing but to wait for 24-48 hours..


Please get back to me as soon as possible.

I do not think that I need to say anything more about these cheaters..


I am seriously considering a legal action.. can anyone help me with this.
