Never ever shop on Shopping.Indiatimes.com

One day I received a coupon through email which gave me a good 15% discount on any product at Shopping.Indiatimes.com, I was thrilled since I had planned to purchase Assasins Creed 3 game CD since long. Thought this was the right opportunity for me to purchase it


Normally I order my products from Flipkart.com which is very nice with its products quality and the delivery time as well. Expecting the same I decided to order from indiatimes.com


On loggin to the website I saw that the indiatimes  website quality was poor compared to flipkart also very confusing, secondly the range of products was very limited.


But luckily I found that the Assassins Creed 3 game CD was available. I then made a purchase by redeeming the 15% discount coupon. I was very happy. However as soon as I placed the order the delivery time showed that the delivery would be made on 14th Dec’12 i.e after a gap of 11 days which I found ridiculous


I immediately called their consumer help line who assured me that the date mentioned was the max delivery date and I would get the CD much before it. As days passed from 4th to 5th to 6th finally to 11th Dec I wondered what happened to the CD. So on 11th Dec(A week after I had placed order) I called their customer helpline who again assured me that the product was ready and was about to be shipped and I would receive it on 13th Dec


However on 13th Dec when I didnt receive the product I called them again, this time they created a complaint case for me and told me that the product was out of stock and hence my money would be refunded


THIS WAS THE WORST SERVICE EVER I HAVE GOT FROM ANY ONLINE PORTAL SITE


If the product was out of stock then how could they even allow an order for it, also on website it is showing as available


My money is stuck with them as they are telling it would take 15 days to return my money


Would request you’l to pls dnt get fooled by this site just to save 10 to 15% on your product
