I would like to share my worst ever experience with indiatimes. I stay in Bangalore and bought a vacuum cleaner Karcher 3.200 on 30 Nov 2013 via online shopping. Product got delivered to me by 5th Dec. I opened it on 6th Dec 2013 and found damaged, looked like shipment damaged. Immediately lodged a complaint and ask for replacement, my case id 119564. So from 6th Dec till today 23 rd Dec 2013 they have not arranged the reverse pickup.
There don’t even bother to update you. On calling to their STD number I receives the same response every time: give us 24 to 48 hours. Its height now, from 6th Dec to 23rd Dec they could not arrange reverse pickup.I dropped mail to operationhead@indiatimes.co.in to escalate the case but no use, they also showed non bothering response.
Seeing such irresponsible I decided to get the refund back, for refund product has to reach there warehouse which is only in delhi and after reaching there it will take further 5 to 10 working days to reach it back to my credit card.You can see how efficient they work
Finally, I got to know that they will be coming on Sat 21st or max by 23rd which is Monday for a reverse pickup. But no one came and as usual they did not even bothered to inform me about that. So I called them to check and now I get the response. Still no courier service is assigned to it. Hence you have to wait for 5 working days. This is how they work.
I will say please don’t look to save Rs 500 to Rs 700 and stay away from Indiatimes shopping. You will loose your peace of mind by following up as every time new representative will pick up the call.
