Save your time and money and avoid shopping through this site, nothing but fraud.the site deals with unscrupulous third party vendors and worse still your cc payment is not protected. Learned it the hard way.
I ordered a samsung 7" tablet through shopping.indiatimes on 21st july and prepaid for the item through a cc, order no 3001293043. The item was supposed to be delivered by 8th august, ie 19 days after i ordered. I waited patiently till 8th but the product was not delivered. I filed a complaint online and i called up customer service on 8th. They apologized citing technical problems and they promised delivery within 48 hours. Waited again till 11th and no delivery still. Called up customer service and spoke to a supervisor. Now they said that they are following up with the vendor ( cart to india, i believe) and the case manager assigned for the complaint, ms. Devika will get back to me within 4 hours.
Waited and waited for two more days, and neither was there a call from the case manager nor did i receive my product. On 16th a guy calls me up and tells me that they have resolved the issue and the product will be delivered by 19th. On 18th i checked the status on the website and voila, my shipment is cancelled. Some one calls me up 18th and they has the audacity to ask me if i will wait till 1st september for the shipment and that the vendor cart to india has goofed up. I haven’t received a refund as yet and i don’t know how many calls i have to make to get back my money.
To sum it up, this has been the worst experience i have had shopping online. Avoid like the plague...
