Poor Customer Service

I am having a terrible time with Indiatimes Shopping. I had ordered for an induction cooker in the month of January and had made the payment, cash on delivery (Rs. 2750) which exceeded by Rs.50 than the mentioned price as the courier guy wanted a tip.


The quality of the product was sub-average and when I contacted the customer care, I did not get a satisfactory answer. I decided to send back the product and asked for details. This process was so tedious, the customer care executives would put me on hold and would disconnect after 15-20 mins. After a long time I got an email from one Manish who briefed about the process of return through TNT courier. That was another pain contacting the courier guys.


Two weeks down, and I would still not get any correspondence from their side about the receipt of the product. When contacted, the customer care executive requested for an extension of 6 more days. No response after fifteen days and I called and blasted them. Then I get a reply that my order is cancelled. And that I would receive my DD for refund in another 10 days. It is 2 weeks now and I did not get a single call or email from their side. When I called in today, the customer care guy apologized for the inconvenience and emailed me the order cancellation and acceptance for refund. He has asked me another time extension of 11 working days and I am still hopeful.
