I recently got some Indiatimes gift certificates worth Rs. 300, and decided to redeem them. I ordered a SONY earphone with inbuilt microphone from the Half price shop. The image uploaded by the vendor was that of particular SONY brand, but the product delivered was at least two rungs lower model. The product was poorly packaged, and did not look like an original piece as well.
I have been writing to them for the past few days about this but there’s no response from their side. How I wish I had read the reviews here before purchasing an electronic item from them. I have made purchases from Baazee and Fabmart in the past, and have had very little problems. It is sites like Indiatimes which make one scare of purchasing over the internet.
Moreover, this site operates from Delhi - infamous for thugs, one more reason to be extra-careful. I would advise all newbies to refrain purchasing from this site.
