Cheater cheater, booger eater! Liar, liar, pants on fire! India Times = Highway Robbery
Do not buy anything from India Crimes, they are liars and thieves!
In the first week of December 2012, we ordered a double sheet set but received a single sheet set by mistake. The incorrect product was received on December 9, 2012 and I contacted customer service right away to request that the incorrect product be picked up and replaced with the correct one. I was told it could take several weeks to process the correction, and I have waited patiently for the matter to be resolved.
Today I logged into my indiatimes account to see the status, as it has been almost 8 weeks since I have heard from anyone in the customer service department. I and my spouse were appalled to discover that the case has been CLOSED without ever being RESOLVED!
WE HAVE BEEN CHEATED!!! WHAT KIND OF SCAM IS INDIA TIMES TRYING TO RUN?? We purchased an item for Rs 599 and received an item that is not only useless- since it will not fit our bed- but is also of lesser value! That’s theft!!
Until now, I have been very patient and very polite with India Crimes, but it seems I was wrong to be so accommodating. They obviously have mistaken my patience and politeness for weakness and stupidity.
We also discovered that the person who was supposed to process the complaint is either ignorant about the difference between ’single’ and ’double’ sheet set, or in their supreme arrogance they simply refused to pay attention to the details.
My complaint has been logged as "received only one sheet." This is wrong information and it is not what I said!
A ’double’ sheet is designed to fit a double or queen size bed, a ’single’ sheet is made to fit a single bed which sleeps one. We ordered and paid for the double size sheet set but received the smaller, and cheaper, single size one instead!
We will never, ever purchase anything from India Crimes again! And this is why we chose to buy our washing machine and refrigerator from Flipkart- who gave us a good shopping experience with no screw ups!
If India Times personnel can’t send a Rs 599 sheet set without fouling everything up, how could we possibly trust them with Rs 20, 000 worth of appliances??!!
