I have ordered two mobile phones from indiatimes shopping website in the past couple of weeks; the website does have every phone imaginable, and the best part is that a 10% coupon for mobiles is always available, either on the site itself or other coupon dedicated websites such as coupondunia. But once you place the order that’s when the frustration begins. The entire order process is excruciatingly slow, usually taking about 10-12 days total for the product to arrive at your doorstep. The shipment details and updates are well, not updated; sometimes the courier arrives before the expected date, so it could be a problem if no one is present at the residence. No other status updates of the order appear on the website at all, the only one appearing when the product has been delivered.
So its a gamble, if you want instant gratification, especially when phones are concerned, then I would recommend going to a physical brick and mortar store, but if you have already researched your product, are familiar with its functions and all, and are looking for the best price, then indiatimes shopping cant be beat, as I have never found lower prices than the website. The return policy is also only a mere 7 days, so you have to make a decision rather quick if you wish to return the product.
All in all, I just dont like not being informed of the order status along with poor customer service, so probably wont buy from the store in future.
