Not so bad after all

I was looking for a good 1.5 ton window AC all this summer. By the time I shortlisted on the available models, it was already at the verge of arrival of monsoon in Mumbai so I postponed the plan to buy one, till the off season starts (To save some money).

The current market rates for ACs provinding similar features range between 25k to 17k with the modest ones like LG , Samsung, Onida, Voltas, Electrolux.

I bought a 1.5 Ton Window airconditioner from the auction site a month back. I got the AC for 13k which was a great bargain for me, the risk involved was that they had a list of vendors for Voltas, Electrolux, Onida, LG and Whirlpool and their panel will decide which AC to send.

As all the brands are comparable in quality, I bid with bated breath and after 15 days I received an LG AC, to my delight (It was my choice among the list).

The only problem was lack of communication on their part, as a customer who purchase a big thing needs to know the status of his order, an update every week which was missing, but when I wrote to them I got a prompt reply from them. The assurance factor was low till I received the product.

Overall the experience was not that bad. I feel encouraged to buy other things from them..and as the auction is extended to Refrigerators and Microwave, I am getting more and more tempted to get the bargains.

Try it out, although other reviews are disheartening, I believe they are improving with time.
