Friends, just never choose Indiatimes for any product you want. They first attract customer with luring promises, product description, eye-catching images and fairly low prices as compared to other online shopping portals. When you receive the actual product, it is far from the description.
I had ordered for "Fidato 5 Cotton Double Bedsheets With Pillow Covers + Free Clutch " on 28-Jul. The product description clearly stated "pure cotton" and the photographs uploaded had beautiful designs. Received the product in 3 days, i.e. 31-Jul only to find that the bedsheets were of polyester. The clutches available at the street hawkers are of far better quality than the one I received from Indiatimes. I immediately called Indiatimes customer care to request for a refund. The gave me the refund case ID 1007942 and asked for me to wait for Aramex to pick up the stuff from me. Pick-up was done on 6-Aug (6 days) and then there was no news from them until I called them on 23-Aug (23 days) inquiring about the refund. They sent me a mail on 27-Aug (27 days) stating that the refund has been processed. I waited till today, i.e. 11-Sep-13 (42 days) and the refund has not been received yet.
To my utter surprise, their Customer Service is so bad that they disconnect the call on your face, and don’t let you speak to their supervisor, behave rudely and what not... They just care a damn about your request. They say that you need to wait for 24-48 hours just to speak to their supervisor. They didn’t even give me the transaction number for their initial refund transaction, which I might have used to trace the transaction form my bank.
In short,
1.> they are sitting with my money for 45 days...and I don’t know, how long they would keep doing that.
2.> Worst products.
3.> Worst Customer Service.
I have had better experience with Ebay, and have been shopping with them for a long time and for many products. Their policies are very fair towards customers and products are awesome... Just remember to read through the entire Ad before you purchase any product...
You would not be disappointed...
