My order number is 3002508007 which I ordered on July 11th 2013. I got email after a few days that the product will be delivered on 20th July ( 9 days after placing the order) which was too long as compared to other online retailers like flipkart, ebay, infibeam, tradus etc.
I waited the whole day on July 20th for the product delivery but the product was not delivered. I contacted customer care a few times and every representative told me that I will get the product surely by July 20th but nothing happened.
I asked them if they can call the courier company and see what is going on , they said we cannot call them and instead gave me the courier companys phone number( which I think that it is Indiatimes responsibility to call their tied-up courier companies).
When I called the courier company they did not pickup the phone. So I was wondering why does Indiatimes has tie up with un-professional and unreliable courier companies.
When I called customer care again on July 21st 2013, they told me that we are logging your complaint and you will get some information in 48hrs.
I got an email that expected resolution date is 2 Aug, 2013. So I am not sure when will I get this product.
This was a really bad and disappointing experience with Indiatimes shopping. I have shopped with other companies like flipkart, ebay etc and they have always provided before committed time deliveries.
I would not recommend any one to shop with Indiatimes as there is no surety and commitment from them.
