Another victim

I am the latest victim in this ever growing list of shopyourworld.com users. I  placed an order a month back and cancelled it when it was not delivered on time. I was given the assurance that the refund would be done within 10 days.Now, a month after cancelling the order, I am still waiting for the refund.


I was told by the customer service agent (who is difficult to connect in the first place) that it was issued and will reflect it my account in a couple of days after 1 week there is still no sight of the refund...now its impossible to connect with the customer service, they dont reply to emails anybody got any idea how to get the refund from them quickly.

After several reminders and talk over phone, the customer service rep told me that my refund has been approved and there is payment with ICICI gateway...that is why I am not getting my refund. However I had filed a complaint with ICICI CC regarding this transaction and raised a dispute claim back in January 17th, 2013...my contention was that shopyourworld.com was listed on ICICI site and there was an offer of discount on ICICI CC...ICICI gave me an interim charge back for my purchase promising that it will be solved in 54 days. February 28th I got confirmation that the charge back has been made in my favour and I was given a credit for the amount case solved. I guess the best way to go about with shopyourworld.com is to raise a dispute claim with your bank.I hope it helps everyone.
