It’s like we’ll take your money, but we wont tell you where we are located and we wont respond to you calls and that’s the essence of this scam
I wonder what government is doing about such scam website and their owners and how Banks like ICICI are partnering with this bogus company. I wish someone could tell the banks and their payment processors that these guys are operating without an address which I suppose isnt allowed.
So, I ordered an Item from these scamsters on Nov 5th 2012 and Oh God, what mistake I made. the order status hasn’t been updated as yet. I tried calling these guys on the number mentioned on website, but no one ever responds. Their agents are busy (Or maybe they dont exist at all)
On one occasion I tried holding for whole 30 minutes ans still no one responded. I also mailed these scamsters at cs, ps @ shopyourworl.com No response.
then I added the owners (rahil shah, sandip shah) in the thread rahil@shopyourworld.com, sandip@shopyourworld.com find them on linkedin and expose them. after few days I got a call from a guy called Ajay who said the product would arrive in Bombay in 2-3 days. the days passed nothing happened I called up the number from which he called 022613232** and found out that there was no one by the name of Ajay there.
Then I had a talk with a guy by the name of Mahendra, and I asked him to arrange a callback from his manager. Someone by the name of Yasmin called later that day.
He now told me that product would be delivered in another 8-10 days. I asked them to cancel the order and compensate me. He told me the order would be cancelled and 10% of the ordere amount would be credited as SYW Rupees, Obviously who’d ever place an order with these guys but I said okay at least I am getting the money back.
But nothing of that sort has happened as yet, they have just replied that amount would be refunded in 12-15 days. I doubt this would happen, I have mailed them regarding the confirmation on the same but they are not responding. Even the SYW Rupees has not been credited to my SYW account.
So I urge everyone to stay away from these people who are scamming people, since they dont have any inventory and their modus operandi is to earn interest on your money and not delivering the product, since they dont have any.
