My name is Rahul. I used to use NAPSTER each and every day till it was banned. According to me there is nothing wrong in the concept of File Sharing . Banning NAPSTER hasn’t made much of a difference in anyone’s life expect for those who owned NAPSTER. There are still plenty of File Sharing Softwares available free for download like E Donkey , Morpheus , Audiogalaxy , Imesh and lots more. I agree that none of them are as good as NAPSTER but guys dont you think it is time for us to move on....
I am totally against the banning of NAPSTER but I don’t think any of us can make a difference.File Sharing is a great concept. There are so many happening on the Internet that shouldn’t happen but there is no one to stop it .
Children have full access to Porn and other offending stuff. Bu no matter how hard parents try , children go back to those sites again and again.
We see banners everywhere saying
’’ PREVENT SOFTWARE PIRACY ! ’’
’’ PIRACY SUCKS ! ’’
’’ DON’T USE PIRATED SOFTWARES ’’
etc etc etc...
But does anyone listen...?
NO
We all go on and crack the softwares in no time feeling a great sense of achievement. But does anyone stop to think what we are doing to the people who have spent sleepless nights making those softwares. Well, we DON’T !
File sharing should not be banned . It is a technology which should be encouraged .
DONT YOU THINK THAT STOPPING CHILDREN FROM WATCHING PORN IS MORE THAN THAN STOPPING US TO DOWNLOAD SONGS !
Sit back and think about it ,
Do we really respect the INTERNET ?
Do we really care about the hard working dudes of the computer industry ?
Do we really need to care ?
ARE YOU A RESPONSIBLE NETIZEN ?
The answer is out there, it is the question which drives us crazy !
