At first place I want to make myself clear that I am neither a Bengali nor a Die hard fan of Ganguly....
The decision of Ganguly being included in the Indian Side has become the most ’’Controversial’’ one in the recent days but I fail to understand as to why it is being highlighted so much.I understand that Cricket is the most popular sport in India but all these discussions add to the pressure on the SelectorsCoach and the Players.
I have always admired Ganguly because of Good batting and intelligent Captaincy but in recent times the Media has just shattered everything by their fake news(Dominant attitude blah blah!!).But everybody praised him when he took bold decisions and India used to win or whenever he insisted on including a particular player in the side.The fact is that nobody knows the truth of the Dressing Room...
Since Ganguly has served the Indian Cricket team for so long he should be given another chance atleast to prove his mettle despite of his poor fielding, poor running between the wickets and above all every bowler in the world knows how easy it is to send him back to the Pavilion.....
Instead of including him in the Indian side for just one game he should be included for the entire series as one cannot judge any player by a single performance.But if this time he fails to deliever he should make way for the youngsters by his own by retiring from the Indian cricket and maintain his pride for the future.......
