Once again dada scored 18...and that cost us a match as well.....failure, failure & failure...this bad patch will continue for how long? I had written lot against Dada in my review ’’open letter to captain’’. dont’ want to repeat here again.
Lot of people saying, Dada is the best captain of all time, The Best Captain in the History of Indian Cricket. They recognised him for his ability of winning, team leader etc. etc.... Today, I am showing u how they are wrong?. They just love him blindly without seeing his records....

if anything proved wrong in above written stats, I will never write here again. In all, there were 27 ODI series(not included Tsunami Match) under his captaincy, India won 7 series only, India Lost 17 ODI series under his captaincy..... In percent ratio, winning ratio is just 25% whereas lost ratio is almost 63%..... This stats is really an eye opener for the peoples who supporting without knowing the real truth.
INDIAS PERFORMANCE IN TEST UNDER DADAS’ CAPTAINCY
Why we rate Austrailia as Worlds’ best team. They can easily beat any team on home soil, but they have the ability to beat any side overseas as well. Here dada lacks, he never won any overseas series. Some people may say about victory against pakistan in Pakistan, but sorry I will give him only 50% as Dravid was captain India in 2 tests (with 1 win)... He is the most luckiest captain in Indian Cricket History, got most number of home series than any other captain and that also against weak teams......
BATTING PERFORMANCE
From the last 3 years, Dada contineously failing again & again in his batting. He is surviving on a single century scored 3 years back....In 1992-93, Selectors selected him purely as a batsman, not as a captain. So, his main duty is to score runs. If u carefully gone through his batting record, he scored a single solitary century against World Champions Austrailia in ODI as well as in Test in 12-13 years...where as he scored plenty (3) against team like zimbabwe, kenya... that shows his failure against quality bowling. Dada yet to score a century against Pakistan and South
Africa in Tests.... He scored plenty of his runs against weak teams.
Conclusion
In my opinion, Dada is definately overrated as a captain and player as well. He is the worst captain in the History of Indian Cricket (according to the above statistics). He is not at all a team leader or motivator. Team Leader is one who is leading from the front.... Look at other captains like Ponting or inzamam, they are regularly scoring tons when team needed the most. Overthe years, Dada just dragging his captaincy on other players contribution.
