The Shree Ghanteshwar Hanuman Mandir is located in Khar(W) area of Mumbai. Its actually about 10 minutes walking distance from Khar(W) station road. Its located on the roadside adjacent to famous The Madhu Park in Khar.
With my personal experience I can say Its quite an old temple visited by many, especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The temple has got its name Ghanteshwar since it is full of bells which people have donated after their wishes have come true. Its a belief that if you ask you something at this temple, and your wish gets fulfilled, one should donate a bell.
Even I had donated a bell when I had scored good marks during my SSC exams.
The temple is of Lord Hanuman, and one can see huge crowds during Tuesdays and Saturdays all throughout the day. It would take atleast an 45 minutes to around about an hour during there two days in the queue.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays, one can offer garlands, mustard oil and coconuts to the idol. All of these, you can purchase from the temple itself.
While during the rest of the days in the week, the temple is quite less crowded. Its even more crowded during Hanuman Jayanti.
One can find parking near about the lanes besides the temple only, but I would suggest that during the late evenings the area is too crowded.
Timings of the temple: 6.00 am to 2.00 pm 5.30 pm to 11.00 pm
Aarti at this temple is done in the morning time(11.30 am) and during the late evenings(7.00 pm).
