Well I give a 4star to this movie although its much more than 4 star but lets keep 5 star for the breathtaking. You can really enjoy this movie and all u need to do is find out all the hidden meanings.This movie unexpectedly surpasses Shrek 1 in every aspect.
Hey dont see Shrek 2 if u havent seen other hollywood blockbusters like Lord of the rings, matrix, harry potter, and loads others (right now I cant get all the names). Becoz the movie has got it all. including ricky martin’s livin la vida loca. It pays tribute to most of the greatest known hollywood flicks. Also reference to the most recognizable Garfield. You just have to sit there as keen observer.
Like a puzzle u have to find out where the scene has been taken from or what does it refers to. U dont want guys and gals screwing ur good mood, by screaming that the scene has been taken from XXXXXXX, So its better u shout and tell them first. Well the Special effects are mind blowing. Being an animator myself, it was a blow job for me to watch the awesome character animation and VFX.
So there is certainly a big GO from myside and also take ur girlfriends with u, its a romantic comedy. I dont think parents wud understand a frame of it. I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND WHERE THESE HOLLYWOOD GUYS GET IDEAS FROM!
Pros : Great story, great animation
Cons: Must be in touch with earlier hollwood flicks and western culture.
