Shrek !! is excellent and marvellous. The trip by Shrek and Fiona to Far Far away kingdom is interesting. They go there on an invitation by Fiona’s father though Shrek is against it. The whole kingdom gathers to welcome them but on seeing Shrek, the ogre, they are shocked. Even the pigeon falls flat.
Both Shrek and the King have an aragument and get angry with each other. Fiona tries to reason with Shrek but he refuses to ease the situation. Meanwhile the Fairy Godmother whose son is Charming and who is intersted in Fiona, create magic. ’Happiness is just a tear drop away’ is the Fairy Godmother’s slogan and she lands in a bubble as soon as a tear is shed.
If she isnt available she leaves a vocie mail! The King plots against Shrek and hires Puss in Boots to harm him but who somersaults and sides with Shrek. The ogre now has two faithful followers-the donkey and Puss and they have adventures which include a visit to the Fairy Godmother’s factory where potions like the one they steal-Living happily ever after- are made.
Shrek becomes handsome and so does donkey who have both consumed the potion. Fiona is unable to decide since her father tells her that Charming is Shrek. The end is predictable and interesting especially the last scene with Donkey and the Dragon(which many might miss since it comes after the credits). Gingerbread man, Pinochio, the three pigs and others help Shrek.
The movie is excellent and has already become a topper at the box office.
