I remember the small girl with boy cut wearing frock in Zee Saregama! Judges were always carried away with her performance so is the audience. Many stars from reality shows might not come up with flying colours later but Shreya is lucky enough to get good breaks. Also, hats off to Sanjay Leela Bansali who was courageous enough to give her chance as he promised the same in the show.

Here Shreya could prove her comptence in line with all veteran singers like Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishna Murthy, Sadhana Sargam ------. And her range is much above than contemporay singers
Listen to Shreya when she sings in low pitch where in we could sense her breath also which gives full life to the song. Eg: In Bachna Ae Hasino - listen to the song Ahista Ahista ---- where in she sings Ahista ----- she start with low pitch and then pick up with the tempo of the music.

Ilaya Raja, Maestro of Music from South India is an expert who always spot the right talent. After a long break he composed music for the movie "Cheeni Kam" and Shreya was invited to sing the title song! Any one can forget that sweet melody?
Well - I think this is a review with out any structure as I pen down this out of my appreciation to spot a singer for whom we were waiting for long. Before 10 years, I thought, it would be Anuradha Paudual whom we will be listening for long. But with T - Series mishap, her prominence have come down. She is so young and have got a long way to go!
With out any doubt, I hereby make a prediction - The coming days in Indian Music will belong to Shreya and we will keep her at par with legendary singers like Lataji, Ashaji soon!
