It has different departments for different types of medical problems and many OPDs in every department. You will be able to find 10-12 doctors in each OPD, which means that you don’t need to wait for your time to come and they will give good advice to the patients.
Besides this, it has almost every type of machines for check ups and body scanning like MRIs, Ultrasound, X-Rays which means you don’t need to go anywhere else leads to saving your time. It also has a emergency unit which is active after 4 pm. that means you will always find medical attention here.
SRMSIMS also has its cancer curing unit named as R.R. cancer hospital in its campus to cure rare cancer diseases. SRMSIMS with its cancer hospital is one of the few cancer hospitals in the region of U.P. west .
Besides its hospital, SRMSIMS also provides a mobile hospital facility for the rural areas of U.P. and Uttarakhand which was inaugurated by Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Each mobile hospital unit consists of an ultrasound machine , a gynaecologist, and a physician to listen to you. Mobile hospital unit provides free medical facility so that financially challenged families can also get medical attention.
SRMSIMS also do some charitable and social care activities like Rural health campus, 400 free beds in SRMS hospital and Free pharmacy facility every year.
Besides from hospital, SRMSIMS also produces quality doctors and nurses every year. SRMSIMS is one of the premium medical institutions providing quality education to its students to improve their skills. It has three educational institution in its campus providing course like MBBS, M.D/M.S. , study in paramedical sciences, B.Pharma.
