Hi, I’d like to write about this particular school I happened to visit when I went to Vellore, a bustling town which is 140kms from Chennai. The school itself is located in the outskirts of Vellore, near the Vellore Institute of Technology. I bet that u wouldnt have seen such a beautiful school in the whole of Tamilnadu. The surroundings are vey calm and peaceful. The main bulding consists of 1+2 floors. Each classroom in the school were excellently designed. The lkg and ukg classes deserve a special mention. Ull really become a kid once u enter those rooms. They are well decorated with lots of toys and useful educational stuff.
The school has two well equipped computer labs with Pentium 2/3 high end machines. Each machine has multimedia support, which I saw was very useful for the kutti kutti kids there. The labs for the seniors (phs, chem, bio) were highly sophisticated with ample room for some meaningful lab work. Apart from these labs they have a mathematics lab with various kinds of learning tools. The music room also deserves a special mention. Now ill tell u about the other non-academic stuff in the school. Hold ur breath, the school has the following birds, pigeons, peacocks (chicks), geese, plain ducks, manila ducks, chickens, sparrows, budgerigars, guinea hens, shaved-necked hens, some exotic birds (i dont know the names exactly), and lot many other birds. The whole school atmosphere was just great. I guess it would be a great school for kids in and around Vellore. Im cutting this review short due to lack of time. Every one of you who reads this do pay a visit to this school.
