Good south indian snacks and....

Hotel Siddhartha is very popular place in Mysore. It is located near the central bus stand and is close from the railway station.

The restaurant is on the ground floor. The interiors are well made with wooden items and looks spacious. I think it is also non-a/c. Well who needs a/c in place like Mysore.

The restaurant is very clean and neat. The service is fairly good. The manu boasts a good variety of idlis, dosas & uttappas.

I was rather surprised to see vegetable sizzlers in the menu card & I ordered for it. When the sizzler was served with the usual ’sizzle’ sound, all the local people in the restaurant turned their heads to see what was going on. Sizzler was not very popular (I guess) here.

The snacks items were very fresh and steaming hot. The filter coffee was too good.

Pricing is very reasonable. This is worth trying when in Mysore.
