Siddhivinayak is one of the temple I visit every year with family or friends and can reach this temple is 30 minutes by walk from dadar station and if you are with friends then wont find this walk long.
This have a very good and spacious compound and there are shops too if you want to buy Har or coconut or moodhak in thali. When there is more crowd queue is arranged inside this compound.
Lines are managed quite nicely and there are ample security people for that.
You cannot take covers or baggage only a hand bag for ladies but proper arrangement to deposit is made inside compound itself.
Can get inside easily and the ambiance inside is very with the sound of bells and people saying Ganapati bappa morya.
The infrastructure is really good and floors are well maintained and clean with good ventilation and air circulation you wont feel much suffocated during heavy rush.
You can have Darshan and offer your thali or garlands and come back and sit inside beside small undir mamas idol for few minutes and exit.
You can buy special big yellow colour laddus which is not much costly and we friends just like that very much.
Though the shopkeepers out are bit annoying you can take you baggage and sandals are come out of the temple compound.
The temple surrounding are really clean and maintained very well.
You can easily find auto to reach if you wish, there are couple of good restaurants or local food stalls too if you are hungry.
Really good temple and we prefer visiting in the morning and then go to mahalaxmi temple.
Would suggest every mumbaikar to visit this temple.
