I go to this temple with my family every year at least a couple of times as we believe in God Ganesha and go with kids before the beginning of academic year and before their exams. It is one of the powerful temple of Ganesha in Mumbai and is in Dadar.
It takes 20 minute walk to this temple from station or you can fetch a cab or auto which will get u there in 8 to 10 minutes.
You can buy garlands, coconuts and modhaks from shops outside the temple and keep your footwear there or separate counter is available to keep your footwear which is pretty safe and they provide tokens.
This temple is well maintained and arrange and queues are maintained.
You will find good rush on Tuesdays and on auspicious days and need to stand in long queues.
And wont get much time in front of main idol to pray and place your offerings there, need to move fast
The temple is beautiful and maintained really well with proper security.
You can sit inside after the Darshan and pray for a while and come out.
You get thert and big laddus at a nominal price and yeah they are really tasty.
Inside the compound they have made arrangements to sit so you can take a break there or buy some idols or books or small toys from the shop.
It is really a auspicious place this temple is really powerful one thats the reason visit every year with my family and people here regard Lord Ganesha high.
