Optimal Phone, good features for that cost

I have been using C35i for the last 9 months.

C35i is pretty light weight phone. It is not so expensive for the host of features it provides. Reception is very good. Signal strength is good.

:-) It has 4 games. I have become a very good minesweeper player!

Has the VIP and normal address books. Different ring tones can be set for the different address books!

Many tend to compare this with a Nokia phone. A Nokia with almost similar features will cost a good 3000 Rs. more.

I tried a Nokia 3330 for a day. The only difference I found was the time the battery charge lasted. You can have a C35i and buy an additional battery for Rs.1000 or 1200 and there...you are all set!

As not many WAP providers are there in the market and as WAP service is pretty expensive, I couldn’t test the WAP functionality.

Some drawbacks:

It doesn’t have voice recording facility. I had a S-25 earlier and it had voice recording facility.

There isn’t much variety in the ring tones, S-25 had some very good ones.

Battery drains out very fast. I bought a car charger to keep charging it continually even when I travel.

T9, text messaging functionality is not of much use.
