Hi all I tried doing a research about dishwashers in India for a very long time before I bought one. My problem was there was no one product that everybody agreed upon and the information available except for a couple of reviews was scarce at best. The older people I asked around discouraged me from buying one as they said I will have to change the style of cooking, no oil, cant burn milk etc. also the fact that you cant put in copper bottoms aluminiums etc.
BUT
I went ahead after all this research and bought the said dishwasher a month and a half ago. And. Am very happy indeed
What I like:
The dishes can be washed at any time of convenience even in my absence
The dishes dont have to be done immediately for the fear of piling up and stinking they all sit neatly in the washer and if the washer isnt full I run a 15 min sprinkler which keeps them fresh
The features on this particular model are really great. I do not have to bother about the load. It senses and works automatically.
It CLEANS really! I mean my old steel strainers and trivets which had become dull and black have come out shining clean.
The drying is one thing I have learnt that is dependent on how you place the dishes. If you place them right they are dry and shiny and can directly in to the cabinet
This particular model also has the feature that senses the dirt of water and therefore cleans thoroughly it even stores back the water that isnt dirty and uses that water for the next wash in the first cycle. I think thats more intelligent than you or me
The timing isnt a problem. There are rush ones that last 45 mins and economical ones that run 3 hours and everything in between
Long story short -if you have no time and dont like to run behind house maids, get a dishwasher yes even the oily Kadai and the burnt milk in the pan all are washed away and your dishes come out sparkling clean
What to keep in mind
You have to really learn how to load the washer to get the results you desire- short but necessary task
You cant put in shiny aluminium vessels even anodised ones they come out dull and faded
You cant put in wood or copper bottoms
But thats it
I hope this was helpful let me know if you have any other questions
