Hi,
i m a current student from SIES College of management Studies, which is located in Nerul, Navi Mumbai.I am currently pursuing my MCA from there. I am going to cite reasons for not joining the MCA Course in this college.
1. Charge an enormous amount of fees but no quality education or infrastructure provided, all u will see are mandirs and more mandirs....and so u kno where all your money is going. They are charging around 68000 a year...
2. The course is good but the faculty is really bad, they have no knowledge about he subjects they teach, and if you ever ask them a doubt they’ll never be able to answer it.
3. The course marking scheme is like 100 marks theory paper and 25 marks are internals which is depending on term work like presentations, projects , tests etc...but the professors only give u marks depending on how much of buttering and chaato-ing one has done. Besides that they will realise at the end of the term to be precise 5 days before the university papers that they need to mark us so they will call u for tests and vivas 4-5 days before the exams but at the end of the day they mark u on all the buttering, even though u would have scored high u will ultimately get marks on the buttering and believe me every mark counts !
4. Besides that there are 3 computer labs out of which 2 are for the MCA students we are a class of 60 students and the bigger lab has around 35-40 computers but more than 60% of the computers dont work so we end up sitting around 3-4 students per computer.
So all u’ll end up doing is paying a huge amount of fees to get your degree and not end up understanding anything in the classes bcoz of poor knowledge of the professors....SO DONT JOIN THIS COLLEGE
