After being away from my home for a very long time, when I came back, there was a flyer in my house saying that I can get a Sify Broadband connection with free installation! I called the number on the flyer and the guy promptly came to my home. Well, he says the installation is not free, it’s 299, which was fine too. Filled the form gave the check and then all hell broke loose!
The guy promised me a connection in 5 days. It’s been over 2 months, still waiting. I called them up several times and after forwarding my call 2-3 times every time I call, I either get a voicemail which no one has courtesy to monitor or if I am lucky enough I get a person who promises me something like ’’I’ll get the connection in 2 days’’ or ’’I will forward this complaint to the highest level and someone will contact you within one day’’. Of course nothing happens.
Now I am thinking of getting an MTNL landline and subscribing for Triband. Other MS reviewers seem to be happy with Triband.
I would recommend you to stay away from this provider - I just don’t understand why they don’t want to sell their product to customers!
