You Give Marketing A Bad Name

Sify Broadband represents everything that gives advertising and marketing a bad name. A perfect example of the fact that slick advertising and cool marketing for a product or service that stinks can perhaps fool all people - but only for some time.

Unfortunately, I am one of those who were fooled. ’’For those who hate to wait’’ they said in their tagline. Believe me, that’s a bigger lie that ’’I really love you, honestly.’’ With Sify, it’s waiting all the way... when you log on, be prepared to wait endlessly, when you call their Customer (Dis)Service Helpline, be prepared to be on hold endlessly, and when you are waiting for the Customer (Dis)Service reps to deliver on their promise of getting you connected ’’within the next 30 minutes, sir’’, you can wait till the cows come home!

While I normally refrain from using strong language, in this case I must be upfront enough to say that these people are complete liars. They make claims which they know they will not live up to. They make promises which they have no intention of keeping. Their Customer (Dis)Service reps make commitments which are merely tools for fobbing you off. When you deal with them, don’t believe a word they say to you. All you will get are lies. Damned lies and worse.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
